Capital flow
Creator fees on Arc are claimed on a schedule and paid in USDC to the website the creator named, through its HTTP 402 endpoint, landing in the site's Stripe balance. 20% of every claim buys and burns $402.
Claims
Nothing claimed yet
Creator fees claimed from tokens, and the $402 buybacks they fund, are listed here.
A token on Arc points its fees at us
At launch, or by registering an existing token, its creator fees go to the Stripe Money treasury. On a schedule we claim them in USDC and split every claim: 80% to the website the creator named and 20% to buy and burn $402.
80% to the website
An agent requests the website
Our payout agent requests the website's 402 endpoint, the path discovery found when the token was named. It holds the site's share for that claim.
20% to the buyback
USDC buys $402
The 20% share buys $402 on the open market on Arc, in USDC, in the same run as the claim.
The website answers 402
The endpoint replies 402 Payment Required with its payment requirements: the amount, the pay-to address, and a Stripe account behind it. A site without a 402 endpoint is skipped and its share is held as owed.
$402 is burned
The $402 bought is sent to the burn address. Buys and burns appear in the ledger with their Arc transactions.
USDC is paid on Arc, the request retried
The agent pays the amount in USDC on Arc and retries the same request with the payment proof attached. Payouts under 5 USDC wait for the next claim.
Stripe credits the site's balance
The site's Stripe creates a PaymentIntent for the charge, with the payment note as its description, and the money lands in the site's Stripe balance.
Stripe 402 payouts
A website is paid only when it answers 402 with payment requirements backed by Stripe. Nobody on the site's side signs up or shares keys; the endpoint is theirs and the money lands in their own Stripe balance.
